湖北美术学院，前身为始建于1920年的私立武昌艺术专科学校，是华中地区的最高美术学府，是全国八所专门美术学院之一。她座落在长江之滨的中心城市武汉，学院现有座落于武汉市市中心的昙华林校区和美丽汤逊湖畔的藏龙岛校区两个校区。

学院各学科、专业发展全面，现有及中国画（含书法）、油画、壁画、版画（含插画艺术）、雕塑、水彩、动画（含影像媒体和动画）视觉传达设计、工业设计（含展示设计）、环境艺术设计、服装设计（含服装表演与设计）、美术学、艺术设计学等院系专业招收外国留学生本科生，并招收美术学和设计艺术学所涵盖的所有研究方向的硕士学位研究生。

一、入学条件

以上各类学生均使用汉语教学。

二、费用

（一）、学费

本科生 26000元/年

研究生 30000元/年

长期进修生 26000元/年

短期进修生 3000元/月

（二）、报名注册费：500元

（三）、医疗保险：每学年600元。

（四）、其它费用

1、 住宿费：留学生公寓住宿二人一室（有独立卫生间、空调、电视、电话、网络插口）每人每月1000元。

2、 伙食费自理，可办理留学生电子餐卡。

3、绘画材料费、教学计划外的外出旅游考察费、交通费等自理。

三、申请入学办法

1、凡需报名者，由个人或单位通过有关大学、团体、公司与我院外事办联系，索取《JW202表》。

2、报名者收到申请表及《JW202表》后需逐项填写，并准备如下材料：

（1）《湖北美术学院外国留学生来华学习申请表》

（2）最后学历证书、毕业证明和成绩单（经公证后的复印件）；

（3）护照复印件；

（4）HSK（汉语水平考试）有效证书复印件

（5）4张护照照片

（6）近期作品的幻灯片5-6幅或光盘

将上述表格和材料准备齐全，在入学当年的6月30日前寄到我院的外事办。院外事办将及时审核并上报主管机关报批。经审查批准入学者，将收到《JW202表》及我院录取通知书，可凭借此到中国使（领）馆申请办理来华学习的入境签证。

四、报名注册

1、申请者办妥来华学习签证后，准备2寸半身免冠照片10张，于当年9月1日和9月15日之间到学院外事办报到登记。不能按时报道者需提前说明原因，经批准后，方可适当延长报名时间，否则，逾期两周不报道者，作自动放弃并取消入学资格。

2、学生应在到达学院的一星期内缴清规定全部费用，有意拖欠并经劝告不交者取消学习资格。

3、新生入学后统一安排住宿，并按公安局出入境管理规定办法办理有关居住手续。

五、其它

1、学生完成所学习的全部课程应即时离开，学院外事办不会提供办理签证延期手续。

2、注意事项：在校期间中途退学、辍学或开除学籍者，学费不退。

Brief Introduction of Hubei Institute of Fine Arts (HIFA)

The Hubei Institute of Fine Arts (HIFA), whose predecessor was the Private Wuchang School of Arts founded in 1920, is the top institution of higher learning in fine arts inCentral China. HIFA located inWuhan, which is the one of the biggest and most modern cities inChina. With the Yangtze River and Han River crossing by,Wuhanis also the capital ofHubeiProvinceand the original place ofChuculture. HIFA is composed of two campus: Tanhualincampuslocated in downtown ofWuhanwhile Canglongdao campus located alongshore beautifulTangxunLake.

HIFA is offering various specialties: Chinese painting (including Chinese calligraphy), oil painting, printmaking (including illustration), mural painting, watercolor painting, sculpture, visual communication design, photography, industrial design (including display design), environmental art design, apparel design (including fashion show and apparel design), and Research of Fine Arts (including Artistic Design Theories) .etc. The school also offers courses in fine arts and the arts of design for master's-degree candidates as well as courses in various specialties for foreign students.

Ⅰ、QUALIFICATION OF ENROLLMENT

NOTE: The courses for all kinds of students above will be conducted in Chinese.

Ⅱ、FEES

4、Other Miscellaneous Costs

a、Accommodation

The facilities of the double room 1,000 RMB per month per person include a private bathroom. And the rooms are equipped with internet, telephone, color TV, air conditioner, etc.

b、Board (meals)

International students should pay the cost for food, and each student can get a campus card for the payment of the canteens in HIFA.

c、International students should pay their own expenses of the painting materials and other fees brought about by Study Tours and transportations.

Ⅲ、APPLICATION PROCEDURES

1、Applicants may contact the Foreign Affairs Office of HIFA directly or through other organizations such as universities、societies or companies .etc to get a application form titled “JW 202”.

2、When the application forms are confirmed, please send us the required additional materials as follows:

a、”Application Form for International Students to study at HIFA”

b、Academic Diploma: certified copy of the applicant’s latest relevant certificates of a education and academic records.

c、copy of passport

d、the certificate of the HSK (Hanyu shuiping kaoshi)

e、4 recent passport-sized photographs

f、5-6 photographs or an optical disk showing the applicant’s own works of art

All the application forms and other relevant documents above should be mailed to the Foreign Affairs Office of HIFA by June 30 of the first year of your attendance.

3、Upon receiving the documents above, the Foreign Affairs Office of HIFA will inform the candidates of the status of the applicant. Successful candidates will be sent the authorized form titled “JW 202” which can be given to the nearest Chinese Embassy or Consulate in order to obtain your student visas.

IV、REGISTRATION

1、On arriving at the university, newly enrolled students should register at the Foreign Affairs Office of HIFA within the period from Sep.1 to Sep.15. For registration, the student is required to prepare for 10 recently taken two-inch half-length, bareheaded and full-faced photographs. Those who require to postpone their registration for special reasons must come to the Foreign Affairs Office to account for the delay. Extension may be approved but it must not exceed the period designated in the Admission Notice. The student who is absent without asking for leave for over 2 weeks, will result in the denial of admission.

2、The international students should pay tuition and all the other fees involved within 1 week after the commencement of each semester. Students who refuse to pay tuition after a warning within the specified time will be deprived the matriculation qualifications.

3、HIFA provides on-campus accommodation for international students after arrival, and make the residence registration for the students who live on campus at the local police station according to the “Law of the People's Republic of China on the Control of the Exit and Entry of Citizens”.

V、ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

1、Students are expected to leave the university after the completion of studies. The Foreign Affairs Office of HIFA has the right to refuse to apply for a residence permit for an extension procedure.

2、For such matters as the suspension of studies, dropping out, transfer of school or expelling from school, the Tuition Fees are non-refundable.
